Kalli first discovered L’Arche when her Aunt Jennifer was welcomed as a core member into the L’Arche community in Spokane, Washington. After graduating from Willamette University, Kalli served in Panama with the Peace Corps, where she gained the grant writing skills she now shares with the FOLFC community. Currently, Kalli is a labor and delivery nurse at the Poudre Valley Hospital, where she has worked since 2013.
Jocelyn is a former assistant with the L’Arche Ipswich Community in England. – Expanded bio to come.
Brian has a passion for the vision of L’Arche and building inclusive relationships that transform our community and bring peace into the world. Brian is hopeful about the ways his background as a psychiatrist and therapist can help the FOLFC community continue to grow in the tradition shared by Henri Nouwen, Jean Vanier, and L’Arche Communities around the world.
Jane and her husband Bill (two of the founders of FOLFC) have four daughters, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Jane is a retired writer, editor, and member of the headquarters supervisory staff of the National Council of Teachers of English in Urbana, Illinois. In addition to volunteering at the Catholic Worker House in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, Jane was involved in many faith-based activities in her local parish. Since moving to Fort Collins she has become deeply impressed by Jean Vanier and L’Arche and thinks that a L’Arche community in Fort Collins could serve as a beacon of light, love, & hope for not only the core members of a home but also the Northern Colorado community.
Prior to joining the FOLFC team in 2018, Mandi spent three years with the L’Arche Greater Washington, DC community where she worked as the Hospitality and Social Media Coordinator. She has a Bachelors degree in Social Work from Eastern Mennonite University and currently works as a resource coordinator for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities at the Developmental Disability Resource Center based in Lakewood, CO.
Richard is a special friend and advisor who has assisted FOLFC with a number of projects in recent years, including FOLFC applications to become a member community of L’Arche and a certified Provider Approved Service Agency (PASA) in the State of Colorado. Richard is a former long-term member of L’Arche Jacksonville where he lived as an Assistant and worked as a community member for 13+ years. He currently lives in Boulder, CO where he operates a consulting business supporting non-profits and organizations dedicated to assisting persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
